Mumford and Sons at Bonnaroo

I am really enjoying this band and I heard they were the band to see at the best music festival in the South.
I love the feeling of hearing a song for the first time and really loving it. This is the main purpose that there is a pen in my car. Yes, it comes in handy at the bank teller and for writing down directions, but it is mandatory for those rare instances when I fall in love with a song and I have to write down the title and artist for further exploring.
This happened to me on Wednesday when I was sitting in my car after having my ears lowered. I am trying to keep a budget so I was putting the purchase into my ever handy iPhone. Seriously, I rely on my phone for everything, but that is another topic for another day. I am not sure when it happened but I realized that I had stopped everything and was just listening to the beautiful song that was filling the car. That song was “I and Love and You” by The Avett Brothers. Today’s Friday playlist is dedicated to these guys.
Let me know what you think. I almost went all Black Keys on you, but I decided that was too easy. I did start strong.
Sorry for the late posting of today’s Friday Music List. I stayed up too late reading articles on the game and work was brutal today because of a training class. I will try to get these up in the mornings from now on.
This Friday’s music list is heavily influenced by the movie “500 Days of Summer”. Great flick and I highly recommend it. It has a great soundtrack so this way you may be able to recognize some of the songs. Rent it and watch it with the lady this weekend. She will love the movie and you should enjoy it also. Trust me, you will like the movie…it is not a romantic comedy. Those things are evil, this movie is not evil. I digress.
